This Legal Notice governs your access to and use of beamerlights.com, its subdomains (including shop.beamerlights.com), and any BeamerLights storefront or landing page that links to this notice (the "Site"). It sits alongside our Terms of Service, Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy, and Refund Policy. If this notice conflicts with the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service control.

Email is our support channel. We respond to messages sent to the address above within two business days in the ordinary course. A mailing address will be provided on request for any legal or formal notice.

2. No Affiliation With BMW

BeamerLights is an independent aftermarket brand. We are not associated with, sponsored by, endorsed by, authorized by, or in any way officially connected to Bayerische Motoren Werke AG ("BMW AG"), BMW of North America, LLC, or any of their subsidiaries, affiliates, or authorized dealers.

"BMW," the BMW roundel, "M," and all BMW model, series, and chassis designations — including but not limited to F30, F31, F32, F33, F34, F36, F80, F82, F10, F11, and similar codes — are registered trademarks or trade names of BMW AG. Any use of those marks on this Site is nominative and descriptive only, used solely to identify the vehicles with which our products are designed to be compatible, as permitted under applicable trademark law. No such use implies origin, sponsorship, endorsement, approval, or affiliation.

All other trademarks, service marks, trade names, and logos appearing on the Site — including payment brand marks such as Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Apple Pay, Google Pay, and PayPal, and platform marks such as Shopify, Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube — are the property of their respective owners and are used for identification purposes only.

3. Our Intellectual Property

Except for third-party marks identified above, all content on the Site — product designs, photography, video, installation footage, illustrations, fitment data, copy, page layouts, the BeamerLights name and logo, and the compilation and arrangement of all of it — is owned by BeamerLights LLC or licensed to us, and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, trade dress, and other intellectual property laws.

You may view and print Site content for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not, without our prior written permission:

  • copy, reproduce, republish, or mirror Site content on any other website, marketplace listing, or storefront;
  • use our photography, video, or product copy in your own listings or advertising;
  • scrape, data-mine, or use automated tools to extract Site content, pricing, or fitment data;
  • reverse engineer, replicate, or manufacture our products or their tooling; or
  • use "BeamerLights" or a confusingly similar name or mark in a business name, domain, handle, ad copy, or keyword campaign.

Patent pending. One or more BeamerLights products, product designs, or components are the subject of a pending United States patent application. Where the Site states "patent pending," that refers to a patent application on file with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. Patent pending status does not confer enforceable patent rights until and unless a patent issues, and we make no representation that any patent will issue or as to the scope of any claims that may issue.

4. Product, Fitment, and Installation Notice

BeamerLights products are aftermarket cosmetic accessories. They are not original equipment manufacturer (OEM) parts, are not safety equipment, and are not certified, tested, or approved by any vehicle manufacturer or regulatory body. Read the following before purchasing or installing.

Factory ambient lighting is required. Our kits amplify and extend a BMW's existing factory ambient lighting system. A vehicle that was not built with the factory ambient lighting option will not function with our kits. Verifying that your vehicle has this option is your responsibility before ordering.

Fitment guidance is guidance. Chassis codes, model years, trim levels, production dates, LCI and pre-LCI revisions, regional variants, and prior repairs or retrofits can all change door panel geometry. Our fitment selector, charts, and any advice given over email or social media are provided in good faith as a best estimate and are not a warranty of fit for your specific vehicle. Where fit is uncertain, verify your door panel part numbers before ordering.

Installation is at your own risk. Products are designed for tool-free installation into an existing factory channel. You are responsible for installing correctly, for any damage caused by improper installation or removal, and for using the product only as intended. We recommend professional installation if you are not comfortable working on vehicle interiors.

Not a driving aid. These are decorative interior lighting accessories. Do not adjust, install, or interact with a product while the vehicle is in motion. Never allow interior lighting to interfere with your view of the road, mirrors, instrumentation, or controls.

Local law compliance is yours. Some jurisdictions restrict the color, brightness, or visibility of interior vehicle lighting while a vehicle is operated on public roads. You are solely responsible for confirming and complying with the laws applicable where you drive.

Vehicle warranty. Installing an aftermarket accessory may affect coverage for a related component under your vehicle's warranty or service contract, at your manufacturer's or dealer's discretion. We are not responsible for any warranty, service contract, insurance, or lease-return determination made by a third party.

5. Reviews, Testimonials, and Results

Reviews, star ratings, photos, and testimonials displayed on the Site reflect the individual experiences of the customers who submitted them. They are not a guarantee that you will have the same experience. Where a review is labeled "verified owner," it was submitted by a person our records associate with a completed order for the product reviewed.

We do not edit reviews to change their meaning and we do not suppress reviews because they are negative. We may remove content that is off-topic, unlawful, abusive, contains personal information, or appears fraudulent. If a reviewer received a free product, discount, or other incentive in exchange for a review, that fact is disclosed with the review.

Photographs and video on the Site are of real installations. Lighting appearance in photography and video is affected by camera settings, ambient conditions, screen calibration, vehicle interior color, and the factory lighting setting selected. Actual appearance in your vehicle will vary.

6. Pricing, Promotions, and Comparison Values

All prices are listed in United States Dollars and are subject to change without notice. Where a bundled or promotional item is shown with a stated value or a struck-through price, that figure represents the price at which we offer or have offered that item for sale on its own. It is not a claim about any other seller's price.

Promotions, discount codes, and free-gift offers are subject to their stated terms, to availability, and to any published limits, and may be modified or withdrawn at any time. Despite our efforts, the Site may contain typographical errors or inaccurate pricing or availability information. We reserve the right to correct any such error and to cancel or refuse any order placed at an incorrect price, including after an order has been submitted, in which case we will notify you and issue a full refund.

7. Third-Party Links and Platforms

The Site links to third-party platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and our payment and checkout providers. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, products, policies, security, or privacy practices of any third-party site or service. Links are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement. Your use of a third-party service is governed by that service's own terms.

The Site is hosted and our checkout is processed on Shopify's platform. Payment card data is handled by our payment processors and is never stored by us. See our Privacy Policy for details on what data is collected and how it is used.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

Except for any express limited warranty we provide in writing with a product, and to the fullest extent permitted by law, the Site and all content, products, and services offered through it are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that fitment, availability, or descriptive information is complete or current.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so parts of the above may not apply to you. Nothing in this notice limits any non-waivable statutory right you have as a consumer.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, BeamerLights LLC, its members, officers, employees, agents, and suppliers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, loss of use, or vehicle downtime, arising out of or relating to the Site or any product purchased through it, whether based in contract, tort, strict liability, or any other theory, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

Our total aggregate liability for any claim arising out of or relating to the Site or a product will not exceed the amount you actually paid us for the product giving rise to the claim.

10. Copyright and Intellectual Property Complaints

We respect intellectual property rights. If you believe content on the Site infringes your copyright or other intellectual property right, email support@beamerlights.com with the subject line "IP Complaint" and include:

  • identification of the work you claim is infringed;
  • identification of the material on the Site you claim is infringing, and its location;
  • your name, address, telephone number, and email address;
  • a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the rights holder, its agent, or the law; and
  • a statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in your complaint is accurate and that you are the rights holder or authorized to act on the rights holder's behalf.

We review every complaint received and will remove or disable access to material where a complaint is valid.

11. Accessibility

We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA and improve the Site on an ongoing basis. If you encounter a barrier to using any part of the Site, email support@beamerlights.com with a description of the issue and the page involved, and we will work with you to provide the information or complete the transaction through an alternative method.

12. Governing Law and Venue

This notice and any dispute arising out of or relating to it or the Site are governed by the laws of the State of New York, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Subject to any dispute resolution provisions in our Terms of Service, you agree to the exclusive jurisdiction and venue of the state and federal courts located in the State of New York.

The Site is operated from the United States and is intended for customers in the jurisdictions we ship to. We make no representation that Site content or our products are appropriate or available in other locations. If you access the Site from elsewhere, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law, including any import duties or restrictions.

13. Changes to This Notice

We may update this Legal Notice at any time. The version posted on this page is the version in effect, and the "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent change. Material changes take effect when posted. Your continued use of the Site after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated notice.
